Circle C Farm is located in South Central Florida and Southwest Florida on 2 farm locations. We are a 100% pasture grass fed/finished multi species farm, our primary production species are mobile free range poultry: including broilers and laying hens, turkeys and quail; followed by cattle, sheep and pigs operating 12 months a year.
We are currently in the process for having our own on farm USDA Federally Inspected Poultry Slaughter Facility and USDA Federally Inspected Butcher Facility. We will then add all other domesticated species to our Slaughter Facility in time, making it the only red and white meat facility on a farm in Florida; focused on an ethical and humane slaughter process from beginning to end for every animal.
Our clientele base is 5 Star Chefs, Clubs, Resorts, Restaurants spanning from Tampa to West Palm and the Florida Keys, in addition to our Farm Store located on our Bonita Springs Farm which is open to the public 12 months a year.

IDEAL APPRENTICES will have experience in the following areas b/c responsibilities include but are not limited to: physically demanding and labor intensive 5-7 days a week general animal husbandry of all species rain/shine; field, irrigation, fence and ground maintenance; poultry slaughter and processing responsibilities; feeding of animals / milling of feeds for all livestock; poultry responsibilities include: moving mobile coops, cleaning brooders, removing waste, checking waterers/feeders, setting up/cleaning between batches of chicks, etc. and preparing orders for farm store / delivery, and anything and everything else that is needed to happen on a livestock farm. Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable. Background checks, references required. You will receive a hat, pair of boots, work gloves upon starting. Trial period to ensure good match for both parties.

Meals: Meals are on your own, we are not yet set up for on farm meal prep. There is access to farm produced goods including grass-fed pastured meats and eggs. Availability can vary with seasons and other factors. Meat and eggs for on-farm use are set aside in designated areas. Produce may be grown on farm if desired or gotten at local farm market in Immokalee.
Stipend: Apprentice Stipend based on experience. The stipend may or may not cover monthly expenses for the apprentice based on needs and lifestyle. The position does not allow time for a second job, so the apprentice should consider their own budgetary needs before applying to this position. No on-farm housing is offered at this time. It is necessary that applicants assess their financial status and ability to commit. There is a very nice RV park near the farm, that is approximately $300 month including water with your own trailer/RV.
While we care about your health and well-being, we will not be held responsible for any pre-existing medical conditions or medical needs. We require that our apprentices sign a waiver releasing us from any responsibility for injuries or illness.
The Interns will be expected to work full time 5 days a week. A valid driver's license is required and independent transportation is helpful given our distance from ‘town.’
